Abstract

The paper presents a clinical case of the annulus fibrosus plasty with Barricaid implant after removal of the herniated L5-S1 disc. The follow-up period was 6 months. The treatment had excellent clinical result including the absence of low back and leg pain, as well of continued degeneration of the intervertebral disc and the facet joints.
