ONE-STEP COMPLETE REMOVAL OF DUMBBELL-SHAPED SPINAL CORD NEURINOMA WITH A LARGE EXTRA-VERTEBRAL COMPONENT

Abstract
The paper presents a case of surgical removal of dumbbell-shaped spinal root neurinoma with the neodymium laser. This surgical technique allows the one-step resection of large extravertebral component. Technical features of this method are laser ablation, subcapsular decompression of extracanal component, and its removal through an expanded foramen.
