APPROACHES TO SPINAL DEFORMITY CORRECTION USING TRANSPEDICULAR SYSTEMS IN CHILDREN WITH IDIOPATHIC SCOLIOSIS

Abstract

The paper presents surgical options for spinal deformity correction using transpedicular spinal systems in children with idiopathic scoliosis. The choice of surgical technique depends on the spinal curvature location, magnitude, and mobility, as well as on anatomical anthropometric features of vertebrae determined by optical 3D-CT navigation system.
