SCHEUERMANN’S KYPHOSIS WITH NEUROLOGICAL SYMPTOMS

Abstract

The case of neurologic symptoms development in patient with hyperkyphosis associated with Scheuermann’s disease is reported. Appearance of neurological symptoms was caused by thoracic spinal stenosis. Surgical correction with third generation segmental instrumentation performed with minimum axial traction allowed the achievement of good effect without aggravation of neurological symptoms.
