REPLACEMENT OF THE T2 VERTEBRAL BODY FOLLOWING TOTAL REMOVALOF GIANT NEUROFIBROMA

Abstract

A rare case of surgical treatment of a patient with a giant neurofibroma in the right side of the neck and the pleural cavity cupola involving T2 vertebra is presented. The surgery included removal of the tumor, decompression of trachea and brachiocephalic vessels, and replacement of the T2 vertebra body with anterior combined distraction body replacement implant.
