SURGICAL TREATMENT OF SEVERE POSTLAMINECTOMY KYPHOSIS

Abstract

The paper presents a clinical case of severe kyphotic deformity developed in a child after laminectomy and removal of cervicomedular astrocytoma extended from the medulla oblongata to С3 vertebra. The treatment was performed using halo-traction and posterior stabilization of the cervical spine.
