SURGICAL TREATMENTOF SUBARACHNOID-PLEURAL FISTULA

Abstract
The paper presents a case of surgical treatment of subarachnoid- pleural fistula, which arose in a patient after an operation performed in the thoracic spine via transthoracic approach. The treatment was performed by means of aplasty combining elimination of the fistulous tract and of the cavity into which the outflow of cerebrospinal fluid occurred.
